USVIPF Team To Do List

** USVIPF Secretary will active below links for team members to complete before deadlines. **

• Complete USVIPF Registration form **
• •  It will include all information needed to submit your preliminary and final nominations. Additionally, it will provide instructions and links to pay IPF participation, anti-doping, and banquet (optional) fees.  

   ** USVIPF members competing in this meet will receive a letter from USVIPF HQ advising of their temporary inclusion in the IPF Whereabouts program via ADAMS for two months prior to this meet and two months after meet.  Please click here for information related to this requirement.**

    **Preliminary Deadline: 26 February2020 

    ** Final Nomination deadline: 05 April 2020

• Complete WADA ADeL training for your respective role in upcoming meet no later then five days prior to preliminary nominations date. **
• Complete USVIPF's WADA ADeL Course(s) Completion Form **
• Complete USVIPF Anti-doping form **
• Complete request for inclusion in ADAMS via the IPF (required for non-IPF RTP athletes two months prior to event and two months after event), not required for Masters lifters. **
• Purchase USVIPF warm up (required for championship medal ceremony). **
• Complete Transport and Banquet Form (optional - USVIPF Sectary will submit)

 USVIPF Team Expenses 

• Flight  ( $$ savers book through third party travel website likes Orbitz,Vayama, Booking, Justfly - some provide the opportunity to pay monthly for tickets
• • Due 01 April 2020 (USVIPF Secretary will just need your Flight info - departure/arrivals - no money)
• Hotel  (weigh your options)
• • Review hotel cost and room options in the Invitation . ($$ saver - double up in room and split cost)
  • • Hotel accommodations book through IPF regrettably won't allow  no Saturday arrivals or departures. Sun City has a minimum 2 night stay  over weekends.
  • Hotel alternatives - other hotel and/or AirBnb. Note: if you choose this option IPF requires you to pay a 100 Euro fee to do so. 
• Pay IPF Anti Doping (60 Euro) and Participation (50 Euro) **Due 01 April 2020 .(USVIPF Secretary will collect and pay on your behalf)
• Pay Banquet Fee (35 Euro - optional)

USVIPF Helpful Info

• There will be a USVIPF team group chat on Facebook and/or WhatsApp to push out information to teammates going to the meet and while in country to assist each other.
• Review weather and climate conditions during the time frame you'll arrive in South Africa.
• Consider bringing food and cook ware to make your own food if needed to help with weigh management prior to weigh ins.
• Google for "grocery stores" in the proximity of your hotel.
• Bring travel converters, phone/tablet adapters to watch your favorite shows via Netflix and other services.
• Contact your cell company for data/call packages for South Africa.
